I, the undersigned Teresa BERGANZA:
I would like to bring the young singer Tatiana Trenogina to your attention.
I first came to know Tatiana in 2007 in Athens where she was a competition prize-winner. Even before hearing her I had been taken by her personality. My initial favourable impression was confirmed when she sung. This young artist possesses a lyric soprano voice, one of the most beautiful which I have heard in recent times.
The voice is resonant, warm and powerful. It encompasses a wide range, capable of singing both agilities and top notes without difficulty, as well as marvellous pianissimi. Tatiana is continually in pursuit of perfection. She is extremely musical, sensitive and a good interpreter.
I later heard her at the following vocal competitions:
Renata Tebaldi, San Marino 2007, 2009
Gayare Pamplona 2010
E. Obraztsova, St. Petersburg 2011.
In each of these competitions she was a prize-winner.
During several of my master-classes I was able to advize her, in particular with regard to the choice of her roles.
Recently she interpreted a Donna Anna in a manner worthy of the most important operatic stages.
I believe that this artist - and I insist on stressing the term "artist" - merits one's most particular interest.
